Finding & Using Permalinks

Permalinks, short for "permanent links", offers a stable link that is assigned to a specific article by the database. Using the permalink makes getting back to an article much easier.

Finding a Permalink in EBook Central

How to find the permalink in an EBook Central record:

  1. Once you find a source that you want to use, look at the left-side menu. Click on the Share Link to Book link.

2. A small pop-up window should appear that has the permanent link. (The link should already be highlighted, but if not, highlight the link.)

3. Copy the link using Control-C for PC or Command-C for Mac. Or you can right-click on the highlighted URL and select "Copy." Paste the link into your document.

4. Click the Done button when you’re finished
