Finding & Using Permalinks

Permalinks, short for "permanent links", offers a stable link that is assigned to a specific article by the database. Using the permalink makes getting back to an article much easier.

Find a permalink in APA PsycNet Databases:

 

Once you find an article, right-click on the PDF button:

 

Select Copy Link Address:

 

Now you can paste the permalink into your document.

You can also scroll down to locate the DOI:

 

Right-click on the DOI:

 

Now you can paste the link into your document.
