Finding & Using Permalinks

Permalinks, short for "permanent links", offers a stable link that is assigned to a specific article by the database. Using the permalink makes getting back to an article much easier.

Finding Permalinks in SpringerLink

Once you find an article that you want to use, click on "About this Article" on the lower right:


 

Locate the DOI (Direct Object Identifier):


 

Right click on the DOI and select "Copy Link Address"

 

Now you can paste the link into your document.
