Requests and Digitization

After locating an item in OneSearch, you can either request a physical hold for pickup, transfer to another campus, or for home delivery (note: Hudson Valley Center items are not available for request). You can also place a request for partial digitization* of an item:

Item Requests - Items requested through OneSearch can be picked up at Swirbul Library, Hauppauge Center Library or New York City Center Library. Home Delivery options are also available when requesting materials in OneSearch. Please include your shipping address in the comment section of your request. There are no fees associated with this service.

*Digitization Requests - Partial Digitization of physical items is available upon request: Please make sure to include the pages you would like digitized in your request. Note: Due to copyright law, we are unable to complete requests for FULL digitization of materials. We are able to digitize up to 10% of a work, not exceeding two chapters.
