Laptops
There is a charge of $25 per day from the time the item was due. The maximum overdue charge for each item is $500. Students are responsible for any replacement costs.

Two-Hour Reserve
There is a grace period of one hour for reserve material. After the one hour, there is a charge of $.50 per hour for the first 2 hours, then $1 an hour thereafter. The maximum overdue charge for each Reserve Item is $100.

Overnight, Two-Day and Seven-Day Reserve
There is a charge of $1 per day from the time the item was due. The maximum overdue charge for each reserve item is $100.

Other Materials

If library materials are not returned by the due date a replacement fee will be charged to your account.

Connect NY Books
Overdue fines for ConnectNY books are $1 per day for each book, with a maximum overdue charge of $100.

Recalled Books
If a book you have in your possession has been recalled, you will be informed of a new due date. There is a charge of $1 per day for each day past the new due date that the book is not returned.
