Use OneSearch to find out what books you can access at Adelphi University Libraries. Through OneSearch you can access the library's extensive ebook collection. Start by entering your term in the search box. Use Advanced Search if you have a specific title or author.

Below are some tips on locating books in the stacks, making hold and digitization requests. For ebook tips, see the tab above.
Books are available for browsing in the stacks, by request to be held for you and up to 2 chapters of a book may be requested for digitization.
To locate print books in the library, note the call number in the book record. In the example below the call number is RT 81.5 .N866 2012 and is located in the main stacks of the Swirbul Library.

If Adelphi University Libraries doesn't have a book you are looking for it may be available through our Interlibrary Borrowing Service.
Under the "Refine your results" section on the results page, choose "Expand beyond Adelphi's holdings".
On the book's record page you will see a link "Request through Interlibrary Borrowing". Fill out the form to request the item. You will be notified when the book is available for pickup.
If a book you are looking for doesn't appear in the catalog request it directly through the Interlibrary Borrowing link or at the menu on the gold bar at top of the OneSearch page.
Interlibrary Borrowing is a free service, however fines apply for overdue returns.
