All part-time faculty members will have their researcher profile hidden by default, but they will be able to make it publicly viewable by emailing the Scholarly Works Team.

The researcher profiles of part-time faculty members will be deactivated (no public profile and excluded from smart harvesting) if they do not teach for three consecutive semesters. If they return, their profiles can be reactivated.

The researcher profiles of full-time faculty members will be deactivated (no public profile and excluded from smart harvesting) if they leave Adelphi, unless they retain emeritus status or some other active affiliation with the university.

The Scholarly Works Team will help faculty members who have questions about editing their researcher profile by explaining and instructing them how to do it themselves or pointing them to sections of the help documentation which does the same, rather than doing it for them.

Records will only be created if there is associated content to be accessed either in the repository or online.

Previously unpublished works deposited in Scholarly Works are assigned a permanent digital object identifier (DOI) which cannot be deleted. Once a DOI is assigned, the work will not be removed from the repository.

The Scholarly Works Team will do its best to reply to emails within 48 hours and process deposits within 10 working days.
