Create your poster

To create your poster you can use a template or make your own using PowerPoint.

Or

2. Create your poster in PowerPoint.

  • In PowerPoint, go to New, Blank Presentation
  • In the menu bar, click on Design
  • Click on Slide Size
  • Choose Custom Slide Size
  • Enter slide size; common poster sizes are 36" wide X 24" height, 48" wide x 36" height, 56" wide x 42" height. Check with the guidelines of the conference/class where you will be presenting. 
  • Select Ensure Fit 
  • Delete any boxes that are on the slide

Add boxes for text:

  • Click on Insert

 

  • Choose Text Box, add a box for the title and boxes for columns

 

  • Use Smartart and Charts to create visuals

 

Looking to print your poster? At the present time Adelphi does not offer poster printing services. Perhaps try The UPS Store, Staples or other printing companies.
