A poster presentation is a creative way to communicate your research or information on a topic. Posters include text and graphics and are accompanied by a small informal talk given by the presenter to engage with poster sessions attendees.
Posters can be actual posters or digital versions, depending on the conference at which you are presenting.
Advantages of a poster presentation:
- report your findings in a succinct and engaging way
- enables you to speak with small groups of people
- an easy introduction to presenting at conferences
- allows you to be creative
