Citation Management/Zotero

Citation managers are tools to collect and manage citation information while doing research. There are many such tools available, some free and some requiring a license or subscription. Examples are Zotero, Mendeley, Endnote, and PaperPile. 

Benefits of using a citation manager:

  • generate in-text citations
  • generate a bibiography
  • organize citations

Adelphi Libraries’ recommendation is Zotero.
