Library Instructional Services are available to classes, departments, offices and individuals. The Libraries offer classes and one-one-one instruction in the use and interpretation of library resources in various subject areas and formats. The goal of the instruction program is to teach students to conduct effective research and think critically about the research process.

- Course Reserves Request FormReserve new library resources for your classes or review materials you have already reserved.
- Faculty Requests for Streaming MediaThe Libraries welcome Faculty requests for streaming media that support coursework and instructional use. Institutional streaming rights differ from those available to individuals so some titles may not be available for library purchase. Please complete Course Reserves Request Form above for streaming media titles.
- Suggest an Item for PurchaseAdelphi Libraries welcome recommendations for materials to purchase in service of research and instruction.
- Reading Lists for CoursesAssemble materials of all types—physical books, ebooks, digitized book chapters, scholarly articles, videos, newspaper articles, websites, and any other type of material to create a structured, comprehensive list of readings for your course. Reading Lists connect to Moodle and Adelphi University Libraries’ OneSearch, making it simple for students to access all of the materials you’ve selected. - Guide to Copyright and Fair Use for FacultyProvides faculty at Adelphi University with an understanding of copyright law and Fair Use. Faculty need to understand the basics of copyright law and act in good faith since failure to comply can lead to substantial legal penalties for both the faculty member and the university.
