Interlibrary Borrowing

A free service provided by the User Services department of Adelphi University to the Adelphi community. It is used to borrow materials that are not owned by Adelphi University Libraries. There is no charge.

What Kind of Request Should I Place?

It can be tricky figuring out what type of request/hold you should place for the materials that you are looking for, especially when you need them in a pinch. Don't worry, we've got you covered!

Below are quick and easy ways to request an item

 

Step 1: Try searching our library catalog (OneSearch) and if you find what you're looking for, place your hold

If you don't see what you are looking for there, please try step 2:

 

Step 2: Complete the Interlibrary Borrowing request form

We will process your request and do our best to fulfill it within a timely manner. We will notify you of any status updates, including when the request is available, via email.
