The Hudson Valley Center Library is available for all of your research needs. We have 4 desktop computers, laptop desks and a full collection of resources to satisfy your Social Work research needs. There are over 600,000 volumes in the Adelphi University Libraries collection. The AU Libraries have locations in Garden City, New York City*, Hauppauge, and Hudson Valley. Adelphi students, faculty and staff can use any of our libraries (Hudson Valley items do not circulate to the other centers).
*Please note: For the 2023-2024 academic year, Adelphi’s New York City–Brooklyn Center programs and library will be located in Brooklyn at St. Francis College’s Livingston Street campus.

The Hudson Valley Library is well stocked with books in the subject areas taught at the Center. We also offer popular reading titles, many with social work themes. If you need books from our other locations, it is easy to request them to be sent to you.
