2023 National Healthcare Quality and Disparities Report The annual National Healthcare Quality and Disparities Report is mandated by Congress to provide a comprehensive overview of the quality of healthcare received by the general U.S. population and disparities in care experienced by different racial and socioeconomic groups. The report is produced with the help of an Interagency Work Group led by Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).

Healthy People 2030 includes health disparities data for population-based core objectives with available demographic group data. Health disparities are differences in health that are closely linked to social determinants of health. Addressing health disparities is key to achieving health equity and realizing the Healthy People vision of improving the health and well-being of all.
