Open Access policies

What are Open Access policies?

Thanks to the global success of the Open Access (OA) movement, the vast majority of scholarly journals and their publishers have statements of OA principles and policies. These usually explain their commitment to the free and open dissemination of scholarship in addition to the options authors have for publishing their work OA with that publisher or journal. This often includes information regarding the type(s) of open license authors may choose from, the cost of the article processing charge (if applicable), and policies regarding when the author's accepted manuscript (post-peer review version) can be added to an OA institutional repository like Adelphi Scholarly Works.
