Search OneSearch

OneSearch is the default search box on the Libraries Homepage.

From https://www.adelphi.edu/libraries/, you can search a few different ways:

  1. Simply type your search, with OneSearch selected. This will search everything in the library collection. After clicking search, you can narrow your results on the following screen.
  2. Type your search, with Databases & More selected. This will search OneSearch for databases by title or subject area.
  3. Type your search, with Guides & Tutorials selected. This will search OneSearch for library research guides, tutorials, and other materials to help students, faculty, and staff find and use library resources.
  4. Instead of typing anything in the search box, click on Advanced Search to do a more guided OneSearch search.

Find Books in OneSearch and in Ebook Collections

You can search in OneSearch for print books, ebooks, and more on your topic.

  • Use the library website's main OneSearch search box, with "OneSearch" selected, to type in your topic. This search will bring you to OneSearch, where you can limit your search on the top or by using the filters on the left hand side of the page.
  • You can also click on Advanced Search to do a more guided OneSearch search.

Ebooks are cataloged and can be found in OneSearch, but they are also available via databases. See the links below:
