Find Practices In Your Area

You can create a list of practices in your area using the database Nexis Uni. Follow the steps below:

In Nexis Uni:

• At the top of the screen click on Companies

• In the "Company Dossier" box, located on the bottom right of the scrren, click on Create a Company List

• In Create a Company List, enter in a NAICS code. (The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS is a classification of business establishments by type of economic activity.) For example, below I used the NAICS code for Offices of Mental Health Professionals.  An easy way to find a NAICS code is to search in Google, NAICS code & your practice area; NAICS code psychological services.

• Further down the page, you'll see Geographic Information. Click Edit and choose United States. 
• Enter the zip code(s) you are interested in. Add in a proximity if needed. 
• 
• Click Create

• You will now see a results page. 
• Click Customize to:
  • see the full results
  • specify attributes of the list
  • download the list. 
• Click Update.
