Interlibrary Borrowing

InterLibrary Borrowing

You can use OneSearch to request titles that are not readily available directly either in our Library Catalog or among Everything in our holdings by using Interlibrary Borrowing.  At the Adelphi Universities Libraries home page click on My Interlibrary Borrowing (ILL).

There is a Login Required, using your username and password, to access this option.  From the home screen for Interlibrary Borrowing (ILL) you will have a variety of options to choose from.  From the column on the left you can choose one of four options:

1.  New Requests- for a journal article, a book/report, a book chapter or a thesis and dissertation.

2.  Open Requests -- to review requests already made and in process, to view electronically received articles or checked out items, to request renewals or to review notifications already received for item requests.

3.  View History -- to review cancelled requests or to view the history of your requests or to review all requests made.

4.  Tools - to change user information or to find an overview of Interlibrary Borrowing.

To request Interlibrary Borrowing, fill in each form as completely as possible indicating type of publication, Title and Author.  The status of requests already made will be indicated in the listing (in process or already received).
