Martin Seligman talks about psychology as a field of study and as it works one-on-one with each patient and each practitioner. Martin Seligman is the founder of positive psychology, a field of study that examines healthy states, such as happiness, strength of character and optimism.

How to Select a Topic

Select a Topic

  • Choose a topic that  interests you
  • Do some background research to give you an overview of the topic. This will help you to:
    • Avoid a topics that are too broad 
    • Avoid  topics that is too specific or narrow
    • Find keywords to use in your searching
  • When you have your topic focus, think of a research question for your research paper.
  • Then use the key words of your question (think vowels) for create a search strategy...next tab
  • Don't be afraid to revise your topic and question as you research!
