In-Text Citation

What is an in-text citation?

An in-text citation is a brief reference to the work that you have cited in the body of your text. An in-text citation helps your reader locate the full or complete bibliographic citation of that particular source in the reference list presented at the end of the text you wrote. The CSE Style guide describes how to use in-text citations in Citation Sequence system, Name and Year system and Citation Name system. For the examples of the in-text  citations, visit the Citation Sequence , Name and Year system and Citation Name pages in this LibGuide.
