Searching oneSearch

First step is to go to the Libraries' Website  https://www.adelphi.edu/libraries/

Once you click on the Libraries' Website the default search is the oneSearch database. This is a very comprehensive database that searches for all the resources available via the AU Libraries.

For example, if searching for resources relating to the topic weather,  in the Search Box type in the word weather.

This search above will retrieve all the resources available pertaining to the WEATHER since it was done  without any limits or filters that allows for narrowing a search.

Note:

1. This search retrieved 2,271,028 results with the word WEATHER (see circled red) located upper middle.

2. To access or limit search to the CMC select CMC Material Collections which in under Physical Collections located on the Left (see circled red). There are 72 resources pertaining to the Weather in the CMC.

2. Results are displayed by Relevance. Clicking on Sort by Relevance allows results to be displayed by the Newest to the Oldest, by Title or Author (see circled red) located upper left.
